Anvil Arts, Basingstoke

This project also involved discussions with Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and the University of Winchester. Our report made a number of specific recommendations including a suggestion that the old form of corporate membership scheme should be replaced by the creation of a new group, Anvil Arts’ Business Partners, which would have a broad set of objectives namely encouraging community development, providing opportunities for young people, promoting Basingstoke to wider audiences, and supporting and encouraging creative development across the performing arts in Basingstoke.
